I’m also proud to share our third Borderlands 3 trailer (assuming you count the Mask of Mayhem teaser we posted last Wednesday and the footage we debuted at PAX East). Drops from any suitable loot source (i.e. I find it annoying after playing all this time and think it would be less boring if it was the other way. We unveiled the game at PAX East last Thursday, and today I can confirm Borderlands 3 will launch on September 13, 2019. This page lists unique and rare loot rewards and legendary weapons found in Borderlands 2. I don't view it as an issue of the game itself. All loot is scaled to the character used to open the chest at the time. These chests contain weapons of purple or magenta rarity, and relics may be blue or purple. I simply want a way to get it done for myself. The Golden Key is an item which unlocks the Golden Chests in Sanctuary or Concordia.

I'm not even asking for the company to put it in the game. All I want is for the ability, in single player, for ammo from chests to be automatically picked up just like ammo on the ground is. I assume in this case you'd take the "if it ain't broke don't fix it" stance and demand to be force to run across all that empty landscape all the time?īack on topic.

you know full well that people would be the forums begging for a way to start closer to where they died. If the game didn't feature checkpoints and you always had to respawn at the start of an area and hoof it across an empty landscape back to where you were before. Just because something is "part of playing the game" doesn't mean its a "fun" part of playing the game. With a colorful cast of characters, hundreds of guns to use, and enticing environments to explore, the sheer amount of content Gearbox put into the sequel was. I'm not asking for an massive overhaul of the games looting mechanics and I don't want the game "dumbed down." Borderlands 2 has captivated fans' hearts for years, to the point where its player base stayed heavily invested in the eight-year interim between Borderlands 2 and 3 being released. I'm under the impression that you misunderstood what I was asking in my original post. OK, the looting mechanics are part of game play, start asking for that to be dumbed down, when do people ask for the boss to drop dead when they walk in. Simply so I can get on with mindlessly shooting things and starring at colored drops without slowing the pace by having to hold E on chest ammo.

Some game functions are different between multiplayer and singleplayer, such as inventory pausing / not pausing, so i was hoping there might be a hidden option, mod ,etc to allow this functionality. The only "loot ninjas" I have to worry about would be the rat thief mutant guys. I'm unconcerned about the effects a modification like this would have on multiplayer. Its also annoying and in rare instances if you're doing it during a chaotic fight you can actually end up swapping out a piece of your gear and not even notice it. Its just that, as MR.hyde said, it breaks the flow of the game. I've managed to overcome the difficulty of pressing E and even managed to do it numerous times so far without any major complications or bodily injury. Originally posted by Calcifer:If you tried to affect that, it would also do the same in multiplayer because technicly their the same.
